Louisiana native, Burnell Michael Wallace III, is the current wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Wallace was chosen by the Steelers in the 2009 NFL Draft out of the University of Mississippi.

After setting numerous school records and earning more awards, including league MVP and All-State player, Mike Wallace enrolled at the U of M where he was a star player for the Ole Miss Rebels football team. From his freshman year season, Mike Wallace never missed a game and was first in the Southeastern Conference in yards per catch by his junior season. Wallace earned numerous achievements over his college football career, including being named third-team All-SEC and a Senior Bowl participant.

After Ole Miss, Mike Wallace joined the Pittsburgh Steelers where he promptly led the NFL in Average Yards per Reception in 2009 and with seven 100-yard receiving games in 2010. Wallace is excited for the seasons to come but still plans to catch a few Ole Miss Rebels football games this season.
