Parker Hall
Linus Parker Hall, also known as “Bullet”, is a former University of Mississippi quarterback and tailback. Parker Hall played for the Ole Miss Rebels football team until 1939 when he was drafted by the Cleveland Rams. With the Cleveland Rams, Hall led the league in passing and earned their 1939 MVP award. After four National Football League seasons with the Rams, Parker Hall went on to serve in the military during World War II. Upon completion of his military service, Parker Hall played for the San Francisco 49ers before retiring in 1947. Parker Hall passed away near his hometown in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Hall continued to support the Ole Miss Rebels and would catch a football game whenever he could.
